Welcome to the Glendale Heights Barangay Lions Club Website!


       Glendale Heights Barangay Lions (GHBL) rolled out the 2nd FUN NIGHT on Saturday, January 28 at the Greenbrook West Clubhouse, Bartlett, IL. More than 33 Lions and friends of the club braved the snowy evening to be with friends, have fun and enjoy an evening of dancing and joyful social activity.
       From 7:00 pm to midnight, the place throbbed with dance music, line dancing steps and ballroom dancing. Food and drinks were included in the $10 ticket.
       Thanks to chairperson Christine Tiojanco, Pres. Mar and Anicia Carlos, Lilia Narciso, DJ Tony Pineda, Jojo and Andre Serrano for a wonderful evening of fun, friendship, hot dance music accompanying dazzling dance steps strutted by some of the Lion dancers. All had fun and enjoyed a wonderful Saturday evening on a snowy, wintry night.
       Look forward to the next FUN NIGHT, DANCE NIGHT coming soon!

Welcome to 2012. We are starting the New Year with a flurry of exciting and fun activities. Hop the "WE SERVE" bandwagon, mark your new calendar and join the fun SERVING people and making a difference as LIONS!

DONATIONS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS OF SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES
Our club fundraising to aid flood victims of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City in Southern Philippines netted some generous donations:
   $500 - President Mar and Anicia Carlos
   $100 - Dr. Manuel & Remedios Escalona
     $50 - Lion Tom Rivera
     $20 - Lion Rolando Pascual of Las Vegas

Proceeds from Casino Trip to Horseshoe Casino in Indiana on Jan. 21 and the Fun Night on Jan. 28 will be earmarked for the flood victims of Southern Philippines. Please help the homeless and the hungry flood victims of Southern Philippines.
